Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's been a beauty of a weekend here!

I have a card set to share today that I made for a customer order.

Smitten Mittens Gift Card Holder

Hello & Happy Friday!

Ryan got my computer working and so far so good!
Let's hope it stays that way!

I know I am jumping way ahead of holidays here but today I have a pretty cool Gift Card Holder to share using the Smitten Mittens Bundle.

Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the inside. I will remember that when I share the others I made. I used the small mittens in the bundle that I stamped one in Cherry Cobbler and one in Garden Green and attached them to the sentiment panel. I love, love, love the Garden Green Ribbon I added with a Gold Metallic Enamel Dot on the sentiment panel and some of last years Gold Twine tired in a bow added on the mittens. The stitching on the circle framelit goes great with my mitten theme and I love that my paper also has mittens in it!

Mitten Gift Card Holder:

Stamps: Snowflake Sentiment, Smitten Mittens
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Whisper White, Be Merry DSP
Accessories: Many Mittens Framelits, Stitched Shapes, Circle Layering Framelits, Garden Green Ribbon, Gold Twine, Gold Metallic Enamel Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I cannot wait to share the others that I made!
So festive and Stampin Up's DSP's just make it so easy!

My thoughts today....

That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have yourself an amazing day!

Painted Harvest, Again

Hello & Happy Thursday!

I'm way late updating today!
Something is going on with my Comcast internet. One minute it's working, the next it's off.
Ryan got me hooked up for now....not sure how long it will last. I sure hope we do not have to get a new modem!

Today I have a pretty card to share that I made for fun using the Painted Harvest set.
If you can't is my favorite!

Finally I got to sit down and play with this set in different color ink.
This is Soft Sky and Dapper Denim! My centers are Crumb Cake.
I thought this sentiment was perfect.

Painted Harvest Card:

Stamps: Painted Harvest
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Soft Sky, Whisper White
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, In Color Enamel Dots (heart), Soft Sky 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you do not get tired of seeing these flowers!
Definitely got my money's worth from this set!

My thoughts today....

That's all for now.
Hopefully my internet will work tomorrow so I can update again!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Halloween Notebooks

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's looking like a fabulous day weather wise here in PA.
Yesterday we had some frost on the grass in the morning and I actually turned my heat on enough to take the chill off. There was definitely a coolness in the air and the leaves are really starting to fall!

Today I have the last of the covered composition notebooks to share with you!

These make a cute little gift instead of giving sugary treats and so fast to whip up!
As soon as my customer saw these she went crazy over them!
Even Kelsey has dibs on one IF it does not sell. LOL

Halloween Covered Notebooks:

Stamps: A Halloween Hello, Amuse Sentiment
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Motley Monsters DSP, Spooky Night DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Patterned Pumpkin Thinlits, Candy Corn 3D Adhesive Sticker, Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Halloween Night Baker's Twine, Tangerine Tango/Whisper White Baker's Twine, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The little pens I found at Walmart in the Halloween section. 12 pens for $1.98 and the ink is the color of the pen!

Motley Monsters are Back!

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a nice weekend!

Yesterday we went and checked out the Ghost Train ride that takes place on the York County Heritage Rail Trail. It's a train ride only on Saturday evenings during the month of October that tells ghost stories while taking the train ride. We are pretty intrigued with it and decided we are going to get tickets to go! It's family oriented so there is nothing scary about it but most everyone knows how much we love the Rail Trail for our walks & bike rides so i'm sure we are going to love this! They also have a Pumpkin Ride for the kids which is pretty cool, too! I will let you know when we go. I'm waiting on Shawn to decide which Saturday!

So today I have a cute card to share that was created for my customer who loves those Motley Monsters DSP! She called me the other day in need of a card for a young lady who was turning 18 and wanted that paper. I looked high & low and found a small piece. This is what I made with it.

I may have to go on Ebay to find more of this paper next year!

Happy Birthday Card:

Stamps: All Year Cheer
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits,  Square Layering Framelits, Tangerine Tango Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tangerine Tango Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey was thrilled with this and was going to put it in the mail asap!
She loves her cards and i'm always happy to create them for her!

My thoughts today....

Yes it is!
Last evening was the Pumpkin Walk on the Rail Trail.
Shawn & I attended it last year but passed on it this year.
Hopefully we will be able to go on the Ghost Train soon!

That's all for today!
Headed out for a bike ride today as long as the rain stays away!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Popcorn Boxes for Halloween

Hello & Happy Saturday!

After a day of running around yesterday, today we have nothing on our agenda!
Shawn's doctor appointment went well. He is having another test done to figure out why he has some inflammation in his small bowel that showed up on his colonoscopy. Doctor thinks it got that way from the clean out procedure he had to do. He had one polyp removed that they say was the fast growing type but no cancer were found and for that I am so thankful!

It's still a dreary morning here but the weather people are saying it is to clear out later today but I am a little optimistic on that! Guess we will see.

Today I want to share with you one of the treats we made at my stamp get together with my friends. We made a slew of Halloween things but this one was my absolute favorite!

Kelsey was in Ocean City, Maryland a few weeks prior to my Halloween get together and I had her pick me up a bucket of Fisher's Caramel Popcorn from the boardwalk and we used that in a 3 X 6 Cello Bag to put inside the popcorn boxes. Something different than chocolate and of course we all loved munching on the popcorn after we filled our bags!

Halloween Popcorn Boxes:

Stamps: Trick or Treat (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Spooky Night DSP
Accessories: Popcorn Box Thinlits, Circles & Starburst Punches, Rhinestones, Pumpkin Pie 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Halloween Night Bakers Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

After having much success with these for Halloween, I am thinking of doing these up for Christmas with several different things in the cello bags. I can already see these decorated for the holidays!
Can't wait!

My thoughts today....

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a super Saturday!

It's also Friday the 13th! Yikes!
My hubby is off today as he has a doctor appointment to get the results from his colonoscopy and then the car goes to Toyota for an oil change and inspection! It's going to be a busy day!

Yesterday I finally sat down and made a card for the Tuesday Morning Sketches!
I needed 1 more Halloween card to send out and the sketch was perfect for that!

Those pumpkins are cut out from a pack of Spooky Night DSP using the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlit Dies! I love those!

Happy Halloween Card:

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Basic Black Archival

Booglie Eyes Composition Notebook

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday was quite the dreary, rainy day here in PA.
I made a pot of sausage potato soup for supper and then spent most of my day at my stamp table.
It was a very productive day, too! I worked on some Christmas stuff!!!

Today I have a cute little project to share that I whipped up for my customers. The one lady was once my English teacher in high school so I am thinking she may like this covered composition book and little pen.

Kelsey saw this yesterday and said she wanted to buy it! LOL
The little mini pens I picked up at Walmart in the Halloween section. I think 12 for $1.98.

Booglie Eyes Notebook:

Stamps: Booglie Eyes, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, unknown patterned paper
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Accessories: Circle & Starburst Punches, Classic Label Punch, Elegant Eggplant Twine, Purple Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love making these fun!
I did 3 more which I will share as soon as I get pictures taken of them!

Thanks A Bunch

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

They are calling for rain here today & tomorrow and the muggy's are here to stay for a few more days! I am still running my AC which is a bit crazy for this time of year! Shawn swears we are going to go from summer weather straight into winter. I surely hope not!

Yesterday I sat and made a card to send my older brother & his wife.
They sent me a very funny birthday card last month with an Amazon gift card and I have been wanting to sit and make them a special card. Once again I pulled out the Painted Harvest stamp set just so I could use it with different color inks!

Thanks A Bunch Card:

Stamps: Painted Harvest, Beautiful Bouquet (sentiment)
Ink: Berry Burst, Fresh Fig Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi
Cardstock: Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Whisper White
Accessories: Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle Dies, Crushed Curry Twine, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I loved these colors together and cannot wait to make more cards with this set!

Get Well Card

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's really nice to see the sun shining brightly this morning after a day of rain.
I woke this morning to news of a woman that passed away that I knew. I'm not sure how I knew her but none the less I am very sad about her passing. She had been fighting cancer for quite a few years and had just one heck of a time. I'm sad but I know her pain & suffering is no longer. Sending my thoughts & prayers to her family today....

Anyways, today I have a super quick & easy card to share. It's the last card that we made at our stamp get together last Saturday for World Card Making Day!

These get together's with the ladies has been really nice! It gives us a chance to talk and it also has been nice to be able to use up retired stash! Win win!

Get Well Card:

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers
Ink: Sweet Sugarplum
Cardstock: Sweet Sugar Plum, Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Succulent Garden DSP
Accessories: Triple Banner Punch, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card was super easy and no embellishments or popping things up!
I wanted to let the paper do all the work!

My thoughts today.....

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
